  Following in the footsteps of his Father and Grandfather Gregory Merlo grew up in the transportation industry. From the ground up he began by unloading trailers at the age of 15 then taking his first job driving a local box truck throughout the Tri-State area at age 17. By age 19 he bought his first tractor and was running over the road as an owner operator.

  With the desire to start his own company he worked many jobs gathering vast experience in every aspect of the business from long haul, local deliveries, dispatching, operations management, and brokering. In the year 2000 he took that knowledge and experience and seized an opportunity to purchase two tractor trailers to start the trucking and logistic company he has always dreamed of, DCS Transport.

  Since then DCS Transports’ assets have grown into a small fleet and the logistics division has thousands of carriers with whom we maintain a contractual relationship, all of which service the 48 Continental United States.
